2011 WGC – Bridgestone Invitational Winner Adam Scott Installs Southwest Green Putting Green at Home

ATLANTA, GA. – Australian professional golfer and 2011 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational winner, Adam Scott recently installed a Southwest Greens putting green at his home. Scott also included a tee, which allows pitch shots to the green, as part of his installation. Southwest Greens International, the worldwide leader in the design and installation of state-of-the-art synthetic putting greens and lawns, provides synthetic putting greens that are low maintenance, longer-bladed and that exhibit natural ball roll and ball speed control.

“I’m delighted with the result of the finished product. The green runs true and has a variety of breaks so I can practice all manner of putts. It’s also perfect to chip and pitch to, with the ball reacting properly on landing,” said Scott. “The service from Southwest Greens has been first class. I highly recommend them”.

This year, Scott earned his first top-10 finish of 2011 at the Cadillac Championship, tied for second at the 2011 Masters (giving him his best finish at a Major), picked up his eighth PGA TOUR win at the Bridgestone Invitational and ranked as one of the top performers at the 93rd PGA Championship earlier this month. Scott is only one of four players to win both The Players Championship and a World Golf Championships event in their careers, joining the ranks of Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods and Henrik Stenson.

“To have one of the world’s most elite golfer’s select Southwest Greens’ putting greens for their home is a testament to not only the quality of our product, but the installation performed by Southwest Greens Australia, led by David Woods,” said Southwest Greens President, Kyle Ehman. “The ability to consistently provide superior products and value to all our clientele, professional and amateur, is something we take great pride in.”

An emerging industry trend shows more people are installing artificial putting greens for their residential indoor and/or outdoor home practice spaces. Southwest Greens leads the industry in both technology and installations, with their artificial golf greens and synthetic putting greens exhibiting a lifelike quality with natural appearance and playability, recognized by amateur and professional golfers alike.
